What can I expect?

Our "Double your Revenue" Coaching is an 8-week, one-on-one coaching program. It's customized to you, your business, and your goals. While specific results aren't (and can't be) guaranteed, if you implement the strategies you learn, everything else remaining the same, you income level will increase.

Each week we'll have a 60-minute call or Zoom meeting, where we'll work through one specific revenue growth strategy or technique. You'll also receive templates, resources and swipe files to help you implement what you learn.

In order to succeed with this program, you need to have enough clients and trips that you book for the strategies to work. To get the maximum benefit from this coaching program, you should be booking at least 20 trips per year, or earning a minimum yearly income of at least $10,000 selling travel.

It's time for some tough love. If you don't meet the minimum for either trips booked or yearly income, you don't have an income problem, you have a marketing problem. Instead of going through the "Double Your Revenue" program, you need to develop your Travel Agency Marketing Cocktail.

There will be coursework that you will need to complete before and after each live session to prepare you for what we'll be discussing and to implement your revenue growth strategy. You should plan to spend 2-4 hours per week completing the work.

Prior to starting the coaching program, you will need to gather some data so we have a good understanding of your current revenue level, average trip budget and revenue generated, number of trips you book, and things like that. It'll probably take you 1-3 hours to gather the information, depending on how you keep your records.

While the detailed content of each client's coaching program ends up unique and specific to them, our base coaching strategy covers the following topics:

Week 1: Niche and Specialization

  • Discover why "the riches are in the niches" and how to decide on and develop yours.

Week 2: Financial Goal Setting

  • Let's talk goal setting! It's time to figure out where you want your company (and income) to go so we can develop a plan to get you there.

Week 3: Packaging

  • Learn how to package individual trip components together to increase value for your clients and revenue for yourself.

Week 4: Fees and Commissions

  • Whether you currently charge fees or not, figure out how charging (or increasing) your fees can change your bottom line.

  • We'll review your current commission structure and decide if it's time for a change.

Week 5: Group Sales

  • Strong group sales can take an agency from surviving to thriving.

Week 6: Selling Luxury

  • One of the most lucrative markets is luxury travel, but in order to sell luxury successfully you need to understand the style and mindset of today's luxury traveler.

Week 7: Sales and the Art of the Upsell

  • Learn how to ask for the sale without feeling like a sleazy used car salesperson.

  • Upsells, when done well, can elevate both the client's experience and your bottom line.

Week 8: Scaling Your Business

  • As one person, you can only book so many trips. Let's see what growing your business with either employees or subcontractors could do for you.
