The Travel Agency Marketing Cocktail

Marketing Strategy Coaching

At some point you've probably thought, "Marketing is NOT my strength!"

Sound familiar? You've tried to figure it out on your own, gone down the Google "travel agency marketing" rabbit hole, and come up more confused than ever.

When it comes to marketing, everyone and their brother has an opinion about what you need to focus on first.

Social media experts will tell you that you should have a steady stream of clients coming from Instagram, Facebook or TikTok.

Copywriters will tell you it's all about the words on your website, and if you aren't getting leads from your site it's because the words are wrong.

Extroverts will tell you it's all about in-person networking, and introverts will say you can grow a business from your couch.

What if they're all right... and all wrong?

What if there isn't a one-size-fits-all way to look at travel agency marketing?

Allow me to introduce... The Travel Agency Marketing Cocktail! 🍸

A good cocktail has the perfect amount of the right ingredients. With the right combination, and a skilled mixologist, simple ingredients become magic.

Your marketing works the same way. It's not about doing more of one thing. It's about getting the right combination of marketing ingredients, shaken and stirred together with your unique flair.

Instead of focusing on a single marketing ingredient, we'll work together to create the recipe for your perfect marketing cocktail. We'll develop a strategy that works for you, plays to your strengths, and brings you the right clients (and the right number of them!) to run the business you want.

It's not about what anyone else thinks you should do. It's about you.

That's why, while our Travel Agency Marketing Cocktail follows the same basic recipe for each client we work with, the ingredient ratios change based on your goals, business, and strengths.

No two cocktails (or travel advisors) are the same, so why would your marketing cocktail taste exactly like anyone else's?

If you're ready to stop spinning your wheels with marketing that isn't working for you, and ready to toast to your company's success with a customized cocktail (Gin & Tonic, anyone?) this is the program for you! 🥂

What can I expect?

The Travel Agency Marketing Cocktail is an 8-week, one-on-one coaching program. It's customized to you, your business, and your goals.

Each week we'll have a 60-minute call or Zoom meeting, where we'll work through one aspect of your marketing cocktail. You'll also receive templates, resources and swipe files to help you work through each part of your marketing, making it unique to you and the business you want to run.

There will be coursework that you will need to complete before and after each live session to prepare you for what we'll be discussing and implement your cocktail ingredients. You should plan to spend 2-4 hours per week developing your unique cocktail recipe.

While each client's cocktail ends up unique and specific to them, our base recipe contains the following ingredients:

  • Company goals: Financial goals, sales goals, number of clients, types of travel or destinations you love and want to book more of, or any combination of these.

Week 5: Mix and mingle - Where does social media fit in?

  • Social media strategy: What platforms should you be on?

  • Social media goals: How your social media works with your other marketing efforts
